Quote of the day!
“Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections..”
Ladies, Gents, meet Philipp Plein
I discovered this fashion designer, called Philipp Plein. He's from Germany. I'm kind of in love with his shoes. They're quite expensive, but I love to look at them. They're really pieces of art. Check it out!

I Blame the Fashion Industry!
I often watch runway shows on Tv, read magazines, ... and I can't help but notice models getting younger and younger. The anorexic look is already there, but now you have models being younger than 15.
I read on a site that designers prefer to use younger models, younger faces, so that they can develop smaller samples, which means lesser costs.
I've never liked the anorexic look, it's very disturbing to me. How can you want a model with an anorexic look. What you're basically telling is that you want a model that is 'just not' anorexic. Some designers surely do not get how this is affecting children's lives.
I adore models like Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Tyra Banks, Gisèle ... Those are not only models, they're like a brand. They have an amazing personality and look stunninghealthy!
If you ask me Designers should redefine their target groups. If people recognize theirselves in the models you're presenting them too, or if you use models that people actually want to look like, then people will buy your clothes ten times more.
Designers out there, please consider this ...
Sincerely,
Hawa

… I’m Chuck Bass
If there is one thing I adore is men with style. Not
the men who wear suits occasionally and because they feel they have to, I’m
talking drop dead gorgeous men with a style that makes you want to faint just
thinking about it.
For instance, take chuck bass. He's a fictional man
perfectly portrayed by actor Ed Westwick.
To the men reading this post, take notes …
His style in the show Gossip Girl is beyond words. You
say chuck bass, I say classy, chic and sophisticated.
To be continued ...
My name is Hawa and I'm addicted to … Black Wedges
You've probably already noticed that I have a thing
for shoes. I’m not really addicted to black wedges of course, but I really
fancy them.
They've been appearing constantly everywhere I go or
look. I've purchased mine for 15, 50 Euro! Bbbargain! They’re
beautiful black suede wedge boots. Ideal for wintertime's.
What do you think of black wedges?

Pull a … Kardashian!
In a previous post I talked about my latest love, the
motorbike boots. But I also have
this crush on high knee boots. Years ago I saw them in several shops, but I didn't quite know how to wear them. I was afraid it would look a bit trashy.
Lately I’ve been spotting the high knee boots on the street, a lot of
fashion blogs and of course the runway.
My 2 sisters(twins) each purchased high knee
boots. As far as I know that makes 2 pair of boots that I can wear. (We have
the same shoesize) They usually combine the boots with a skinny jeans and a
blouse.
If you want to purchase these kind of boots make sure
that they’re long enough. We're quite tall so some boots look like not high
boots if you know what I mean, haha. Also make sure that they’re comfortable(of
course) and pretty fitted, so not large on the sides.
A good example of a person who really knows how to
combine these boots is Kim Kardashian.

Hawa
Colour your wardrobe
Hawa here,
If you regularly check fashion blogs, you've probably
noticed the colour red appearing in their outfits. It's supposed to be the
latest trend. Red is not only appearing on the street, it's also appearing on
the runway. Brands like Prada, Hermès and many others have been inspired by it.
Prada
Hermès
I saw a
girl on a fashion blog wearing red pants months ago. I thought it was really
nice, so I went and bought myself some red skinny jeans from ZARA.
I personally don't think that red is the new trend. I
think this season is all about colours. With the financial crisis and stuff
going on, people tend to wear a lot of grey, black colours. Bright colours
automatically flourish your mood. So it’s all about colouring your
wardrobe. I’ve purchased an orange sweater with studs on the shoulders, some
navy blue jeans and as I said before the red jeans.
Feeling a bit down, try colouring your mood.
Love,
These boots were made for ...
My latest purchase are beautiful motorbike boots. Whenever I wear them I feel very confident, and secure. They're not only warm, they're also very comfortable. If you have a certain day planned where you have to walk a lot, I higly recommend you the boots. Not only fashionable, great quality but also supercomfy!
Your motorboots don't have to be expensive! I purchased my boots at H&M, and I'm in love with them. I bought them in sales for 20 euros/25 dollars. A bargain if you ask me!
So what do you think of these cuties?
For ladies with a big shoesize(like me), it makes your feet seem smaller!
Want to add a personal touch? You can!
Adore them!
Have you already purchased your boots? Or do you already have them, or maybe it's just not your taste?
